Bianca completed her Human Movements degree in 1999 and worked as a personal trainer specialising in injury rehabilitation for several years. She developed a love for this kind of work and decided to further her knowledge by returning to study physiotherapy. She completed her Masters of Physiotherapy in 2003 and has been working as a physiotherapist ever since.
Bianca has since undergone further training in Muscle Energy Techniques for the cervico-thoracic and lumbopelvic region, Dynamic Hip Stability, Hydrotherapy, Sports Level 1, Western Acupuncture and Dry Needling. She is also a qualified and accredited Lymphoedema Therapist. She specialises in treating people with lymphoedema, particularly those who have undergone treatment for breast cancer.
Providing effective, evidence based treatment, with a strong focus on exercise therapy and self management, is a passion for Bianca. She loves helping people to overcome pain and return to the things that they love as quickly as possible, whether it be playing sport or playing with their grandkids!
In her spare time, Bianca enjoys spending time with friends, walking her dog, going to the gym and playing netball when possible. She also loves watching rugby and is a mad Reds supporter- you will catch her at most of the games throughout the rugby season.
